In December of 2018, Plaza Home Mortgage sought to refresh their brand from the ground-up using a fantastic new logo and icon created by legendary fashion and movie logo designer Tim Girvin. I was brought on and presented with an opportunity to take Mr. Girvin's fantastic logo and expand upon it, adapting and evolving it into every visual channel of the company. Step 1 for me was the refresh of the company's brand guide, which I used to define the company's new vision for key brand principles like color usage, typography, logo usage, and the company's key brand messaging. From there, these principles were rolled out into a comprehensive visual package I developed which included Plaza's main website, intranet, sales flyers, social media graphics, email templates, internal initiatives, and more.
